Army of Two getting new DLC this week

Posted on May 27th, 2008 at 11:26 EDT

Electronic Arts has confirmed that it will be releasing new downloadable content for Army of Two later this week in the form of the Veteran Map Pack.

Available for both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game, the Veteran Map Pack will be released on the PlayStation Store and Xbox Live Marketplace on May 29, free of charge.

Featuring two co-operative maps, the first takes place in an underground subway station in Kiev, where gamers must seek out and destroy a militia stronghold. The second map pits players in the headquarters of the SSC in Miami, where you are tasked with the job of dispatching Dalton.

EA has promised that both maps will feature interactive environments, allowing players to destroy various parts of the scenery previously not included in the retail version of the game.

Aside from the co-operative maps, the download will also include the China Canal Lock map.

Stay tuned.

Army of two is a hot game but the only thing i didn't like about it was how short the game was and happy to hear that the DLC is free

It was very average. I completed it in 3 days and traded my copy at GAME for the very decent price of £28, which went towards the excellent Everybody's Golf World Tour.

Sorry EA, but even free DLC doesn't make a crap game worth keeping.

I traded my Army of Two on an even Crapier game; Haze, well its not crappy just too average for the hype it had. which usually makes a game crappy in most peoples eyes
