Bayonetta Japanese gameplay trailer

More sizzling footage of Platinum Games' spicy slash-em-up, Bayonetta, has emerged, this time from the Land of the Rising Sun. The Japanese gameplay trailer is brief, but it shows all you need to know about Bayonetta: it's ridiculously over-the-top -- in a good way. Check it out.

Bayonetta launches later this year.

    Bayonetta. My kind of game. Heroine, over-the-top action game with a crazy difficulty, **** yeah. I will definitely be getting this.

    It's by the same guy who made Devil May Cry. And it's no wannabe. It's BIGGER & BETTER in EVERY way. There's nothing "wannabe" about it. Try to know what you're talking about the next time you open your mouth.

    @5 You're everything that is wrong with this site and the gaming community in general. You're and A**wipe that talks out of the side of his neck without actually knowing what you're talking about. Gaming may just be a hobby for you but It doesn't hurt to have some intelligence about it. The creator of Devil May Cry created this so it's kinda hard to plagarize yourself.

    I think all that can be done for DMC has been done now so its time to move on.

    hopefully it wont be super hard like dmc3 or ninja gaiden. Super hard games are not fun! They force you to be cheap and use the same moves (whichever 1 works) over and over! I hate that! I can do it (beat dmc3) but its not my idea of fun. So make this game normal!

    Why can't gameplay trailers ever offer just a single solid minute of actual gameplay? With all the constant cutting in and out, it just makes me think they are trying to cover up what must be an awful game.
