Newly formed studio 4mm has just announced its first title, Def Jam Rapstar.
“There are not very many products out there that speak directly to the hip-hop consumer base,” said Def Jam’s Lauren Wirtzer.
“More than just a music game, this is a game that really incorporates all of the crucial elements of this lifestyle. It’s not just about music, it’s about swagger.”
It will be interesting to see what tracks the game will include from Def Jam’s archive. Some artists we’d like to see include Ludacris, Jay Z, Beastie Boys, and Young Jeezy. Gameplay information is sparse and platforms are unconfirmed, but if you have a passion for rapping, there is finally a game that allows you to show your skills.
