Best Buy advertising FFVII for the PlayStation 3?

Either someone at Best Buy is getting fired or Square Enix has kept this announcement so far under wraps that not even their own company knew about it. Over this past weekend, photos have been circulating on the internet that have displayed the release of Final Fantasy VII on the PlayStation 3 come August 16 of 2008.
While many believed that the original photo had been photoshopped and kids were now just toying with the diehard fans who are longing for the title, a new photo taken by a Best Buy employee seems to say differently.

We doubt any truth to this botch-up, but obviously, like many of you, we have hope for it to be somewhat accurate. However, with the advertised date being a Saturday, it does seem rather doubtful.

@Pap#rThin
Its actually the same font. the guy just took the pic at an angle, making the wording a little slant

Really PSU give it a rest to the FFVII rumors already. It's not funny to see the same rumors over and over again. Everytime Square hints at something unspecified PSU comes with a FFVII rumor. This is getting really old. If you want to play with FFVII fans then play with my... Next time put some real facts or shut up.

I am a Best Buy employee and the sign was brought to my attention at my location by a customer who recieved word of this. He also saw the sign in my store which, during a busy day, is easy to miss.
The sign is real and it is not just one Best Buy.
The real question is whether or not this is a typo or if Best Buy Corporate knows something that we don't know.
Either someone is getting fired or this was Square Enix's big suprise.

Maybe they are thinking of the bluray advent children, but I also doubt it comes out that date.

This cannot be true. If by some miracle it were, then Square Enix did a very well job at keeping it secret. Think about this tho guys. 1) Back in '05, they made a completely revamped CGI video of the whole intro sequence to FF VII. It is now 2008, which has given them a good 3 1/2 years of development time. 2) The director of the orginal FF VII made a statement that truly aroused my suspicion even further. AND I QUOTE: ”Of course, that said we came up with the idea for Crisis Core in just two days. It was a case of 'this is what we want to do, so let's do it'. So, you can definitely expect the probability of something spontaneous happening at some point, but it's hard to predict." <----
ALOS, there have been so many HINTS about the games. Think about the movie FF VII AC. The EXACT same scene with Sephiroth standing in the fire and smiling and then walking away was in that movie. THE EXACT SAME SCENE that was in the original FF VII GAME.
The list goes on and on, but I dont have time to type it all right now guys.
