Further speculation on the possibility of BioShock 2 heading to the PlayStation 3 has surfaced again this week, following a job advertisement posted on developer 2K Marin’s official website.
The company is currently looking for a candidate to take on the role of Senior Designer with specific experience in working with the PS3.
"Experience working with recent generation game console technology (Xbox, Xbox360, PlayStation2 or PlayStation3) and Playstation3 experience is required," it reads.
"Unreal Engine 3 experience" is also preferred, it adds.
While this doesn’t outright confirm that the sequel is heading to Sony’s console, it’s certainly a definite nudge in the right direction.
Stay tuned.

@Orbilator-lol.
Not that I care because this is not my kind of game, but didn't I hear that Bioshock was kinda story-driven? Why would the sequel come to the PS3 if the original didn't. Not that something like that's never been done before, but still...

@Orbilator HA HA!
Well you never know whith companys these days. When Blizzard started starcraft 2 they asked for people that had RPG experince its like they are already three jobs a head before they announce the next project. So its probably something 2 years down the road.

It was only a matter of time before this game came to the PS3. I'm pretty sure the only reason why the first Bioshock wasn't on the PS3 is because 2K Games knew that the PS3's install base wasn't as big and they probably didn't think that it was worth there time to make a PS3 version.
The days of 3rd party exclusives are slowly coming to an end, but for' the PS3, it can keep some 3rd party exclusives like MGS4 because MGS4 couldn't be made on the 360 without downscaling the game significantly.
Even though Bioshock 2 isn't confirmed for the PS3 yet, there isn't any reason why this game shouldn't come to the Playstation 3.

I didn't really like Bioshock, but I doubt, if they do make it on PS3, that it'll be any good. There will probably be a lot of frame rate, bugs, glictches etc

I think these companies like focusing on one big title at a time, as in the section. So I am forced to believe that they have the games skeleton done, but now they need a person with PS3 to get the meat on the disc and all the other things that change it from a CGI movie to a game.
