Bioshock gets a release date for PS3

According to a PSU source, Bioshock will be released for the PlayStation 3 on November 4, 2008.
Announced in late May, 2K Games finally confirmed the rumors that not only would the game be coming to the PS3, but will include "new content" and "new features."
"Since BioShock for Xbox 360 and Games for Windows won countless 2007 Game of the Year awards, we are excited to see the impact of this stellar title for the PlayStation 3 when it debuts this fall," said Christoph Hartmann, President of 2K Games.
"Over the coming months we look forward to revealing the new features and content that will make this a must-have game for its new audience, as well as for those who enjoyed it on the other platforms."
With E3 around the corner, expect to hear more soon. However, for those of you looking forward to picking the title up, you can now look forward to a November release date. Stay tuned to PSU.com for an official statement from 2K Games.

Sweet, this was the only 360 title I was waiting for on PS3 (well that and Gears of War - but I doubt if that'll ever happen?).
PS3 should now start flying.

Ouch. That's the same day Resistance 2 is supposed to be coming out. Wonder which one will come out on top.

This game will ceraintly find an receptive audience on the ps3. A good number of people have always prayed for this to happen.And I believe more titles will follow the same trend.
Personally i pray this happens with ninja gaiden2.From the reviews i have read, the flaws the game experienced on the 360 like poor camara and especially unwanted loading times, can be greatly improved on the ps3, using the ps3's pre installation capability and the amazing cell processor.Since i think the sales don't look that impressive, I hope Tecmo will think about releasing it on the ps3. If this game is released on the ps3 from scratch, I believe it will be better than the 360 version.

Played this game on the PC and it was great.
Hope they'll add some extra's to the PS3 version.
