Call of Duty 4 Double-XP Weekend

Looking for a way to rank up fast and unlock gear quicker on Call of Duty 4? Well your in luck. Infinity Ward will be holding a special event for all PlayStation 3 gamers this weekend for players to earn double the experience in ranked matches. This means that for every kill, captured flag, or destroyed HQ, you can earn double the points.
Here are the official words from Infinity Ward:
"Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Double-XP WEEKEND
Starts: Friday Dec 7th at 10 AM (PST)
Ends: Monday Dec 10th at 10 AM (PST)
Details: We're kicking off a double XP weekend exclusively on the PS3
starting on Friday and lasting till Monday morning. Play at anytime starting
at 10 am (PST) through Monday at 10 am (PST) and you'll earn double the XP in every game type. Rank up higher, unlock more all weekend long! This is a special limited time deal, so get in there and rank up while the double XP lasts, as come Monday morning it's back to normal XP. See you online!"
Even though most of you're already playing Call of Duty 4, here is one more reason to hop online this weekend.

IF YOU OWN A PS3 ANE DONT HAVE CALL OF DUTY 4 (COD4). SHAME ON YOU. IT IS INCREDIBLE. EVEN IF YOU DONT LIKE SHOOTERS JUST PUT THIS IN YOUR HOME FOR YOUR FRIENDS THAT DO THEY WILL LOVE MORE. THIS GAME LOKS AND PLAYS INCREDIBLE ON THE PS3. i HEAR A FEW COMPAINTS BUT I YET TO EXPERIENCE ANY PROBLEMS WITH MY GAME. I BEAT IT LAST WEEK AND NOW READY ROAR ONLINE THIS WEEKEND. SEE YOU ALL CHUMPS ON THE BATTLEFIELD. I TAKE NO PRISONERS.

I'm slowly climbing up the ranks but this should give me a boost. Haven't had any rank glitches yet, but it does take a long time to find game matches (well over 5 minutes last night) Resistance online connection is much better. Hope they can fix these problems sooner rather than later

Can you say Prestige Mode? Oh h3ll yeah......too bad I am way on tranning and won't be back home until Saturday evening. But I plan to do nothing but play CoD4 until this weekend is over (only breaking for sleep...hope the gf lets me take advantage of double XP)

Ps3 is getting worst i'm trying to connect to the servers to get on and play i have been here over an hour and still can't connect, it's lucky i got the two cod4 on each format one game on ps3 and one on xbox360 to play with friends, so i went onto the xbox360 cod4 and hey presto connected straight away, and you fanboys wonder why ps3 is left trailing way behind the xbox360, i wish sony would start addressing these problems because i must say there customer service is a hundred times better than microsofts if only they could sort these small problems out.
