Speaking during the company’s pre-E3 press conference yesterday, Activision president and CEO Mike Griffith confirmed that the Call of Duty franchise has sold over 35 million products worldwide.
Griffith also revealed that the latest installment, World at War, has shifted over 11 million copies in six months, with Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare having been sold at full price for six straight quarters.
Things are looking rosy for Modern Warfare 2, he added, with pre-sales already breaking records and the November 10 being positioned as one of the biggest entertainment launches in history.
Stay tuned for more info on Modern Warfare 2 at E3 this week.

COD4 has my vote for the greatest FPS ever produced. It beats COD WAW & KZ2 hands down. It'd sell even more units if it went Platinum. Also release the early games on the PSN.
