Dark Sector chapter one prologue gameplay

G4TV has released video footage of the entire playthrough of the first chapter for Dark Sector. Set in a Soviet state named Lasria, Hayden Tenno is expected to assassinate a fellow spy named Viktor. Alongside this, he is given the task of setting C4 explosives throughout the factory to bring it crumbling to the ground. On his arrival, Hayden attempts to pull out but his superiors push him forward. Perhaps Hayden's decision to pull out would have been wiser as this leads to his infection.
The video displayed below was more than likely captured before the update that was released for this upcoming action adventure title. If you happen to notice a bit of twitchiness or clunkiness to the gameplay, don't fret, we can guarantee that the patch corrected all of it into a fluid experience. Without further blabber, here is the video for you to enjoy.

well is pretty interesting need some fixes on the I.A. is good but aver there when the guy take cover on the table one of the enemy's didn't take cover.. but the can fix that i think so.. and i guess the physic's too i was expecting the table to brake when the enemy throw that nade'

very awesome. I seriously have to have this game now., I thought that beginning sequence was a cinematic. Very amazing work for a multiplatform game, using new gameplay styles, and from a new company. And to make it look this sexy, it seriously has to be a must buy.
PS dra-whatever. just put ur older... lol... genius. I'm 18, but I typed in 07/17/66 for the heck of it. I do the same on gametrailers.

It's like Uncharted's combat system, but enemies take more damage in this game and you can also. I saw on X-Play some gameplay with actual graphics, and specials. It was BRILLIANCE!

as usual we get to see it played on the 360....heres hoping they do a bl0ody good job on the ps3 port...otherwise it can suck my balls
(does look interesting tho, in a mgs/gears/rsv way) ;)

Wow. Is anyone else hyped about this game after that vid? For a mulitplatform game this looks simply stunning! reminds me alot of Gears of war the way you sprint and the graphics. NExt week, baby!

DaveW, do you know this for a fact? I mean I watched the vid, and maybe I missed something, but I didnt see anything relevant to the PS3.

You people arent very observant, are ya? Watch the vid again. It'll show the buttons for the commands. Press L1 to aim, Press O to vault the walls. The360 pad doesn't have those buttons. That's a PS3 pad layout. THis is the PS3 version.

I have to agree with Drazden, the way some of the enemies scream after being killed is pretty corny and they all sound the same. Anyways, the game reminds me a lot of Uncharted except it's a more dark and gritty game. I just hope that the story mode is at least the same lenght of Uncharted or longer. I think I'll definanlty pick this up.

Ok DaveW I apologize, I watched it again and I thought I was seeing a red B button, but it was actually a PS3 button. I apologize and its nice to see the PS3 getting a fair shake now.

LMAO AT 7:52-7:54 the gernade was thrown like 15m away from the dead body nd it flies on the Screen past him. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This game looks like a rental for me. A.I seems stupid, i like the graphics, garnade flash/explosion, camera, and has a vibe like gears/uncharted.

I' m really looking forward for this game. hope it doesn't get a 7 cause i'll be pissed,.. I was once excited to buy kane&lynch and armyoftwo but after the mediocre reviews I thought they weren't worth the money.. Hope that DarkS doesn't end up like them...
