Electronic Arts has whisked the covers off a brand new launch trailer for its hotly anticipated Survival Horror romp, Dead Space.

To view the trailer, see below.

Dead Space combines sumptuous visuals with an innovative (and decidedly gory) dismemberment system, allowing players to dispatch the game’s collection of various nasties – known as Necromorphs – literally limb by limb as you explore the deserted halls of a lost space vessel.

The game is available now for PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360.

I love how clever they mixed Alien, The Thing and Event Horizont and got a fresh new sci-fi horror! I hope that the story is good as everybody says.

No.. it is NOT available now... the million of gamers in EUROPE have to wait another 10 days.. and it pisses me off.

This is the 21 first century.. get on with world wide releases for crying out loud.

first 30 mins.  in a game is freakin' sweet and scary.  my heart is pounding so hard with the few enemies i've fought so far.  just like when you got swarmed by los ganados in re4.  playing on 50 inch hdtv and graphics do not dissappoint and niether do the controls.
