Destroy All Humans! Big Willy Unleashed PS2 canned

When Destroy All Humans! Big Willy Unleashed was announced, many PS2 owners were psyched that they would be able to play the game without having to buy a next-gen console. Unfortunately for them, THQ has now decided to cancel the PS2 version of the game.

The title, which will now release only on the PSP and Wii, takes place before Path of the Furon, which is the next-gen Destroy All Humans project that is set to hit the PS3 and Xbox 360 later on this year.

THQ has yet to make a formal announcement or give a reason as to why PS2 owners will miss out on this title, but as soon as word is given, be sure to check for details.

    How come someone are just saying "Awesome. Can't wait!" to everything from cancelled games to rumors (about cancelled games)?

    Anyway, I loved the first DAH game but weren't really looking forward to this game.

    I dont think even god knows the answer to that question mate. It seems stupid doesnt it. Arrgh.

    Anyway, this is disappointing news.. and stupid. The PS2 is the highest selling console EVER - so they must have major reasons for cancelling the game - especially so close to release. Not that I was gonna get it, but there are a lot of DAH fans out there.

    I love how ppl say that the wii is next-gen when most of the games to come out on the wii are paired with ps2.

    Wow, that sucks. I was honestly looking forward to this since I'm just now getting around to playing DAH2, and enjoying it. Oh well.....

    Meh, I guess companies are trying to make sure that PS2 owners are going next gen by 08-09. Makes sense as more games will be made for the PS3 only, PS2 still has some good games coming up but its going to dwindle nevertheless.

    "proog" i think some people are posting whilst high on cr@ck or sh1t like that, never played destroy all humains but i think it's a shame to cancel it for those who still have a ps2
