The latest issue of Japanese gaming publication, Famitsu, has revealed that Capcom will be releasing Devil May Cry 4 in Japan on January 31, 2008, putting it slightly ahead of its North American release next February.
Consumers who purchase early will receive a special bonus DVD, featuring either Dante or Nero’s likeness from what we can tell, with the actual game retailing for approximately 7990 yen.
Set between the events of the original Devil May Cry and its sequel, Devil May Cry 4 pits players in the shoes of Nero - a dexterous, highly accomplished swordsman and gunslinger.
Clashing with series protagonist Dante in the middle of a demonic invasion of the city of Fortuna, players must guide Nero on a quest for the truth as they make use of his deadly Devil Bringer arm, which gamers can utilize to string together a slew of devastating attack combos.
Stay tuned for more coverage on Devil May Cry 4 in the near future.

this is cool, btw there are no more 360 exclusives, the only thing making me not buy this is if the reviews say its inferior on ps3 or if the gameplay is short, this is not fps after all and it should be quite big story, ow yea and btw you should be mad at ubisoft for making ps3 exclusive a 360 and making SC5 360 exclusive, btw im not much into haze its another fps i was more intrested in SC5 for ps3 b/c we lost AC, haze and AC are on 2 levels

From what I have seen so far, it looks like its still gonna be worth buying (even though you have tainted my fanboyish pride by going multi-plat...CRAPcom!). But no matter how good they make it...one can only wonder how much better it would have been if they focused all of their attention on the PS3 only. Oh well.......and WTF is up with PSU still having Monster Hunter 3 for the PS3 in the "related games" list.

Uncool - Im with you. I dont care that its multiplatform I'm getting it. I loved DMC series and have yet to complete the DMC3 DA version. Why wouldnt I continue when its been great so far. I'm starting to think that multiplatform can be a good thing - you can just buy the software version thats the lowest price at the time.
