Devil May Cry PSP is no more

Do you recall back in 2005 when Capcom formally announced a PlayStation Portable version of Devil May Cry? Remember how nothing was actually shown on the title over the past four years? Well, at last we have an update for you on the project - Dante's portable outing has been officially canned.

Confirmation comes by way of the latest issue of Famitsu magazine, which removes the handheld action romp from its release schedule. Just so there’s no confusion, the publication also makes a special note of listing the game as cancelled on the same page.

So there you have it – Devil May Cry won’t be gracing Sony’s slab after all. Disappointed? Be sure to post your thoughts in the comments section below.

honestly dont really care. The 4th one didnt meet my expectations so i didnt expect the psp version to be that great anwyays

With Monster Hunter 2nd G and the general PSP success lately, Capcom would have to be incompetent not to try another major title on PSP.

considering i didnt play the first 3 ... and i watched the anime before played the game ... the game was ****** sick, the only bad thing was fighting the same monsters (boss) at the end

WELL I DIDNT PLAY THE LAST DEVIL MAY CRY GAME CUZ SOMEONE TOLD ME THAT IT WASNT THAT GOOD. AND YEA I HEARD IT WAS COMIN TO PSP A LONG TIME AGO AND WAS REALLY AMPED FOR IT BUT THATS WEN I HAD A PSP NOW I DONT CARE ALL THAT MUCH. STILL IT WOULD BE NICE TO SEE IT STILL GOIN ON I MEAN DEVIL MAY CRY IS A GREAT GAME TO PLAY I WOULDNT SAY IT IS THE BEST BUT STILL GREAT.
