This holiday season, Blu-ray owners will be able to purchase one of the biggest movie series to hit High Definition discs yet, with Fox Home Entertainment announcing availability of the Die Hard Collection this November.
Originally announced to be available online in a bundle, the box set collection will include all four films in the series to date; Die Hard, Die Hard 2: Die Harder, Die Hard with a Vengeance and Live Free or Die Hard. However, Fox has recently updated the specs of the set, now stating that each of the four films will be available separately. For the fans out there, at USD 129.98 for the set vs. USD 39.98 for the single films, the collection is the most cost efficient way to go.
This is the only change that has been made to the set so far. The movies will all be pressed onto BD-50, or 50 GB discs. They will support 1080p high definition and are encoded in MP4 with 5.1 channel loss less audio.
The latest film in the series, Live Free or Die Hard will include all of the special features that will be included on the two disc DVD set, and will also include one yet to be announced exclusive feature. No additional content will be added to the other three films, however.
Be sure to come back for more details on this set, as well as a review when it comes out.

A great bundle for Blu-ray and Die Hard fans, not a fan of the series itself but probably would watch a repeat on TV if there is nothing else on.
So blu-ray has Die Hard Quadoligy and Spider-man Trilogy at the end of this year, November for Spider-man as well I think? Top that HD-DVD. Don't forget the rumour of the Spider-man blu-ray Trilogy being bundled with a 40gb HDD PS3?

I'll take 'em. They were all good - great action movies. They'll look nice next to my MI blu-ray set.

No one cares what you UK or Japs think about the name. Cause which country made the movie? Which country are the main actors from? Which country actually fights terrorists. America, so we can name our own frecken movie whatever we want, but obviously there are alot of countries that dont promote freedom like the US, are you ashamed of it?. Some of you just complain about the silliest things.

@ Enacku Man, wat planet ye from?? Our UK troops have been fighting terrorism a lot longer than you Yanks! I.R.A ring a bell. NORTHERN IRELAND, BOSNIA, AFGHANISTAN, IRAQ, are all places UK troops have been, some of them US have as well. And if it wasn't for the UK showin you Yanks how to fiight house by house,(EXPERIENCE GAINED FROM NORTHERN IRELAND) and how to police re-captured areas in IRAQ, you guys would have been FUBARRED BIGTIME!! just remember who backs you guys up in every conflict you lot get involved in! As for yer comment about naming films differently, so wat if ye make em and we rename em, who colonised your country in the first place? US! So without us there would be no GOD DAMN HOLLYWOOD!
