Disney is currently one of the biggest Blu-ray exclusive movie studios, and, to show their support for the next-generation media format is planning to embark on a tour.
Commencing on September 7th, Disney's Magical Blu-ray Tour will be traveling cross-country this holiday season in the hopes to educate the public of the benefits of High Definition media and the Blu-ray format. Along with general High Def. information and demonstrations, Disney is also promoting Cars and Meet the Robinsons, both of which will be released just in time for Christmas holiday season.
The tour will feature showings of several Disney movies in HD, hands on time with some Blu-ray features and extras, like the interactive Liar's Dice game from the Pirate's of the Caribbean Blu-ray best seller.
"Our goal with the Disney Magical Blu-ray Tour is to reach as many people as possible and to help educate the consumers across all demographics," commented Bob Chapek, President of Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment.
"Our presentations and demo areas will hold something of interest for everyone, from kids and their parents, to older adults and teens. Even early adopters won¹t be disappointed with the first looks of the bonus materials that we're rolling out for our future titles. Since high definition is for everyone, we made sure that the Tour elements reflected that as well."
We highly recommend that if you live in or near any of the tour's locations to stop by and check out the activities. At each stop, visitor's can sign up to win a Blu-ray entertainment package with a stand alone player and some of Disney's best selling Blu-ray titles.

Those pussy's at Toshiba have questioned the PS3 buyers of not carring about Blu-ray
PS3 gamers: Buy at least 1 Blu-ray movie.
If every PS3 owner bought just 1 movie our sales numbers would be through the roof.
You can rent Blu-ray at Blockbuster. Rent one.
Please, If you know of PS3 owners who haven't bought a Blu-ray disc yet. Ask them to buy one!!!!!!!!
Please!!!!!!!!!

I love Disney! I'm also a compulsive liar!!!
@TruBlu2: I haven't bought a Blu-ray yet and I've had my PS3 for about 6 months now. There's really no point when all the TVs in your house run at 480i. I'll be sure to make up for it when I get my 1080p TV around Christmas.

A lot of support? LOL. This is pathetic. A few people showing up to a few lousey shopping malls in America to spuik Bluray? TruBlu2 you should go on this trip and shout out to everyone "Please, If you know of PS3 owners who haven't bought a Blu-ray disc yet. Ask them to buy one!!!!!!!!" Come on we beg you just one .....Please!!!!!!! Far out man this Bluray stuff is being spun out by Sony Marketing so fast - it is starting to smell bad. Its not positive. Can we get back to Playstation now and stop pushing dumb movies that are of little value unless your a 10 year old kid and have not watched Sleeping Beauty or Bambi yet.
