With the launch of the PSP Go on October 1, the “majority” of past PlayStation Portable games will be available for download. Jeff Rubenstein, social media manager at the PlayStation Blog, stated that “just about” every PSP game releasing after the PSP Go hits retailers will be available for download.
He later confirmed with Joystiq that “the majority of back catalog PSP games will be made available for download around the launch of the PSP Go.” This is not limited to just first-party titles.
After October 1, all first party titles will release as downloads on the PlayStation Network.
