With Burnout Paradise scheduled to release next month, EA decided it was time to reveal the soundtrack that will be accompanying Burnout racers. The game will come packed with 40 songs by various artists such as Guns N' Roses, Senses Fail, Avril Lavigne and more.

Steve Schnur, Worldwide Executive of Music and Music Marketing at EA said, "Burnout is one of the world's most popular racing franchises and demands a soundtrack that matches the game's intensity at every level. We believe we've crafted a truly volatile mix of rock's most dangerous tracks -- beginning with the iconic 'Paradise City' -- for an audio fuel as explosive as the game itself."

If they didnt have GNR's Paradise City, it would not have made it worth it.  But whats with the sell out popster Avril Lavigne being in there???

That is a horrible soundtrack in my opinion....remeber this is just my opinion, cause when it comes to soundtracks, its anybodys game. I personally think a game like this should have such bands as Children of Bodom, In flames, slipknot...ahh tool would be sweet too!!!

make the game able to have custom soundtracks from the ps3 music library.  no one wants to hear alot of those crap songs.

Avril, B'z and a few others are hold overs from the Burnout Dominator Sound track. They went through all the trouble to premire her song on Dominator before even the radio so I guess they want to get their money's worth out of the licence.
