yeah, AC is a good game; it certainly has bad things but it's still a good game.  I hope they release a new one soon and I would assume they would have fixed the few nagging issues :0)

does any one know how to actually open the door without alerting the gekkos in the last act?? I have finished the game loads of times it's just that whenever I play it it stops becoming a stealth game and starts becoming Rambo.

it's actually not that complicated, once you figure it out. it took me a few tries though.

first thing you do, equip face camo. them get on the floor, and wait till the frogs jump down. snipe them both with the mk.2.  continue down the path on the far left. stay low (like prone low, not crouched). when more frogs jump down, stop moving, and snipe them with the mk.2.   keep going (still prone), sniping frogs along the way. you will see 2 big pillars. one of the pillars has a bunch of boxes stacked next to it.  stand up, go towards it, and press up against it to squeeze in between the pillar and the boxes. quickly get back down on the floor. you will see 2 frogs at the end of the path. snipe them with the mk2.  move up close to the big pillar where the gekko is patrolling, but stay behind it. just stay there. the gekko closest to you will soon get taken down by a rocket/bomb/missile. after he explodes, the second gekko will run up to check on him. he will then continue patrolling. he will walk back and forth. if you look up to the top of the tower accross from you, you will see a frog. when the gekko is turned around, snipe him with the mk2. now the only thing you have to worry about is the final gekko. all you have to do now is wait for him to turn and start walking away (they walk pretty slow), and then run up to the door, and open it by tapping triangle (i think).

First off, it was actually fun earning the Altair costume, it's a breeze if you have the stealth item.  More importantly, I hope they never release trophies for MGS4 because there is no way in H.E.L.L I'm going to even try and get the Big Boss emblem a second time.
