These are all cutscenes from the game, not really screen shots, the PS3 isn't that powerful though don't we all wish it. The PS2 could do these ''screenshots''!!. Nice to see that the cutscenes will have quality like the FVII:AC movie though.

after all the x-plat back-stabbbiness, will people still pick this up?  Having looked at the screen-shots I'm sure a few memory cells might fire as to why they picked up FFVII in the first place.  But XIII going cross plat may work in Sony''s favour if people with XIII want to also play vs then they need a PS3.  Well here's hoping but at the same time I expect this to be times-exclusive and not available on 360 until it's been ported .... which should probably take them a couple months.  So really it's probably not exclusive at all

 These are not gameplay.  These are most likely cutscene shots that don't use the game engine.  If these shots are in game (which is highly doubtful) then it looks great.  But why is PSU showing us screenshots of a CGI cutscene?

And versus will never come to the 360 because Tetsuya is the director for XIII Versus whereas he is just the character designer for XIII.  So he is staying loyal to PS users and is NOT porting versus over to 360.

back to the subject. These shots look amazing and I like how they made the 3 characters all look like they have a friendship connection with the prince and not just body guards  and it adds a since of drama to the story

Very well rendered. Clearly not game graphics, but at least the game graphics they DO show in the trailer are very good too. As long as this stays Exclusive I dont mind seeing FF13 go multiplat.

 

Also I agree that one guy DOES look like Liam Neeson.

Unless we're going to be directing cutscenes these screens are useless. CGI isn't as impressive as it was 10 years ago, show us some gameplay dang it. At least tell us about the battle mechanics or something. Darn you SE *shakes fist*
