Euro Metal Gear Online beta plans coming soon

According to Eurogamer, Konami has confirmed that it will be revealing plans for the European Metal Gear Online beta “shortly.”

The news follows previous reports of Western users finding themselves unable to sign up for the Japanese MGO beta earlier today, seemingly contradicting Hideo Kojima’s comments of using the event to provided worldwide feedback on the upcoming title.

The Japanese beta is scheduled to commence on April 17, with the full game launching worldwide alongside Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots on June 12.

    I want this game now!!! NOW, I SAY!!!!!!! Cant wait any longer! This game will be the best GAME/EXCLUSIVE/CONSOLE SELLER in history!

    One thing that MGS never did was to disappoint. If you are hyped to this game, trust me, it will deliver!!!

    Can't wait for this...really looking forward to it...hopefully the online beta will be for people who pre-ordered (therefore i'll on it...)

    I read in Play magazine a mediocre review of the online play?

    I guess we will have to wait and see, Im hopin it will be good b'cus I love MGS.

    i wish i could do the beta!!!!! God i can't wait for this game. my Gamestop is having a midnight release. because there having a GTAIV midnight. i'm going to that!  sweet.   i wonder how gamers are dealing with the anticipation? are they going into a self enduced coma like cartman did for the wii on south park?

    I was wondering, how do you guys not know if you're in the beta?  I pre-ordered, then Gamestop called and said they had my beta code and disc.  Did it not work like that for everyone?

    Next, I'm not surprised the the online didn't suit that reviewer.  Did you play MGS3 online?  It was good.  Great even.  But it is DISTINCTLY "Metal Gearish".  This game looks the same way.  It's like "Metal Gear Online play for fans of Metal Gear".
