PAL gamers anticipating the release of the PlayStation Network version of Gran Turismo 5 Prologue were left disappointed yesterday, after the game failed to show up on the European PlayStation Store as scheduled.
The latest entry in the popular racing sim from Polyphony Digital was supposed to appear as a PSN download on March 27, with the Blu-ray version going on sale in shops today.
Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) has yet to issue a response as to why the game was held back.
We’ll keep you updated on any developments.
UPDATE: (Source)
Reports from the Official PlayStation Community state that game will now arrive on Saturday, March 29. A forum member was apparently told over the phone that Prologue would arrive "as a separate update tomorrow (Saturday 29th) at the earliest".
An official announcement is expected later today.

I orderd mine from shopto.net aswell, but when I got it, it wanted to install some data to the hard disk drive, no problem I thought....when that was done, it then needed an update!!! which failed 3 times after 25 minutes of downloading. I had to clear the cache from within the game and change the upnp option to mode 2 to get it to download sucessfully, which by the way took nearly 45 minutes! Not good.

Okay, it's late. So go buy the BD version - probably cheaper anyway!

it is on there, @25 quid ill get the blu ray version for 18quid. i dont get this from sony...makes no sense...a download is dearer then a actual physical copy? you cant even re-sell it as a download.surely it would be cheaper as a download cos ur stuck with it once you got it!!?-also, i too was repeatedly checking the store yesterday looking for the the update, and yeah i was dissapointed when it didnt arrive, but im even more let down at the 25quid price tag.and now i feel like ive waited for nothing.-come on sony just dont give release dates for the psn if you cant stick to them.

i think the download is more expensive because of the convinience of not having to leave home.

that's not fair warhawk was 40 usd on psn NA. don't know why euro version of gt5p dl is more than blu especially since quid is worth more than usd. I pre ordered mine from amazon.com for 40 usd but I have to wait until april 20 that's the estimated ship time. Still don't know why euro psn is like that
