F.E.A.R. 3 hitting UK stores on May 27

Horror romp F.E.A.R. 3 will be soiling underwear across the UK from May 27, Warner Bros. Interactive has announced.

The sequel’s seen numerous delays dating back to last August, and was originally tipped for release in late 2010. The game will release on PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360.

Developed by Day 1 Studios, F.E.A.R.3 centres on Alma’s offspring Point Man and Paxton Fettel, who introduce “divergent co-op, giving players distinctly different abilities affecting their own play as well as the experience of their co-op partner.”

The game features input from both John Carpenter and Steve Niles, who offer their contributions to the shooter’s cinematic and narrative components, respectively.

F.E.A.R. 3 will hit North America on May 24.
