FFVII: Advent Children Complete dated for U.S.

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment announced today that Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete will be coming to Blu-ray in North America on June 7, 2009.

The video quality will be presented in true 1.78:1 1080p definition, with English and Japanese Dolby TrueHD 5.1 soundtracks. For those of you who wish to view the film with the original Japanese soundtrack, English subtitle options will also be made available.

Extras include:
- Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete Trailers
- Exclusive Sneak Peek at FINAL FANTASY XIII
- "Reminiscence of FINAL FANTASY VII" Original Story Digest
- "Legacy of FINAL FANTASY VII" Featurette
- On the Way to a Smile - Episode: Denzel Animated Film

In addition to the above, Sony also confirmed that Anaconda, Air Forve One and Glory will be made available on Blu-ray from June 2.

No demo, no buy. Trust me, they kinda F'ed up FF7 with all these half-a** sequels and prequels anyway. I'm glad FF8 wasn't as popular.

I'm in the UK, but if this ever came out over here (I'm sure it will at some point) then I'm not sure that I would be tempted to buy it again. If the FFXIII demo was included...then that would be a different story. Although "On the way to a smile" would be interesting to watch. Wasn't that released as a book?

@21: The demo is still being released with ACC in Japan. ACC will release in Japan in April (was supposed to be this month but it was pushed back). :)

It's kind of ridiculous how they're packing in a demo for a highly anticpated game with a movie no one really wants just so they can sell some more (a lot more). Put it on PSN so everyone can enjoy it.

No demo for FF13, no trailer for Versus 13, no hints at any upcoming SE projects. This Blu-Ray isn't going to sell well in NA anymore. Can't believe SE would pull even more of this BS, and wasn't this demo on the Blu-Ray disk meant to convince North Americans and Europeans that SE still cares for them and the PS brand?

So there is no extra footage compared to the dvd version and no ff13 demo, why make this BD at all? I'm keeping my money on this!

There 30 minutes worth of new content (although they might just be more lame and ott fight scenes) and minor changes made to existing ones like adding blood and bruises on cloud.
