EA Sports today revealed that a demo of the PlayStation 3 version of FIFA 08 would be released on PlayStation Network on September 13th.
The demo will now arrive just a few weeks ahead of the games European release, having originally been slated to appear earlier this month.
This year should prove an exciting time for fans of the football genre, with EA Sports and Konami both releasing their first PlayStation 3 titles in the popular sport, with FIFA 08 and Pro Evolution Soccer 2008, respectively. We will keep you up to date on any news about these two rivals.
FIFA 08 will be released on September 28th across Europe, and will arrive in North America this October.

the only sports game im looking forward to is.............. S-K-A-T-E! IGN just gave it an 8.8, and said you could easily skate around for 30 hours before even trying the career mode. definitely a must buy for me on the 24th.

I never played any sports games except for Baseball, Football (American), Hockey and Basketball but with the additions of demos via the PSN and XBL I was able to try out Tennis, Golf and Soccer games that I would have never thought of spending money on and I enjoyed them. See the importance of demos?

It's nice to test this out cause I love football, but really without a doubt I will not waste my money for this game when the best sports game franchise in history is comming to PS3. PES 2008 is gonna be the best ever.
Fifa is for casual gamers (too arcadey, choppy gameplay) PES is for real football fans and people who know how to play.

i wish it was a demo of pes 2008. fifa has been all about big spending . they have got the licenses.theyve got the modes . but other than that they still nothing compared to pes.pes is the best soccer game ever.but since its free demo i dont mind downloading it even though i like pes more.
