Fallout 3 dev feels faint at the thought of God of War III

Fallout 3 lead producer Gavin Carter has spoken out on Sony’s forthcoming God of War III, noting that Kratos’ latest adventure is chief among his most anticipated next-generation PlayStation titles alongside Final Fantasy XIII.
Speaking on the Official PlayStation website, Carter commented, “Everything I've seen on the new Final Fantasy games has looked fantastic, and I feel faint when I think of the potential of a PS3 God of War game."
Can’t say we’re surprised either, as the impending sequel has virtually all of PSU towers salivating at the lips. We just hope Sony will be slightly more forthcoming in regards to new gameplay footage in the near future.

i really wouldnt care if it did slip into 2010. It would allow them more time to polish the game off and get it to the highest standard.

By the time GOW3 comes out, Fallout 3 will be a distant memory.. and not a happy one. *shivers*.

I actually don't like that GoW3 has been hyped so much so early. It'll only give the 360 fanboys another arrow in the "delaystation" quiver if it drops in 2010. I don't think anyone from Sony has said this'll hit in 2009, it's pure speculation at this point.
I'd like it to hit this year but at least there are a lot of good things already on tap this year.

I want the game to be polished as well, but the longer a game gets delayed the more likely it is that it will be released for the next generation of consoles. Probably not going to happen because the ps3 is relatively young, but you never know.
