Ubisoft’s upcoming Far Cry 3 remains one of the most anticipated third-party offerings of the year. Set on a sprawling tropical Island brimming with perils and secrets, the game sees tourist Jason Brody stranded in this lush setting as it is gripped by a violent conflict, and must escape the Island at all costs.
The open-world offers ample opportunity for exploration and gamers will be given plenty of freedom in regards to planning their attacks, where stealth takedowns will play an integral role in the proceedings.
In an effort to give players more insight into the location and its characters, Ubisoft has unveiled a new video series welcoming you to the Rook Islands. Check out Part 1 below. Far Cry 3 is scheduled to ship for PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360 in November 2012.
