Come on...its harmless, let him advertize his ID if he wants to. This still doesn't do much for me, because R&C is not my cup of tea...but something isn't clear, why does hardware need to be release months apart in different regions? Especially since it will "work just fine" with any other region PS3.....THAT, my friends is weak sauce! Come on Sony...you can do us better than that.

That sucks... I was kind of hoping that the DS3 with Rumble would be released early instead of waiting until next year.  I like the option of turning it off and on.  I wonder if you can buy it overseas  and have it still work in this region.

I think the reason it's months apart is because they don't have enough made yet to release them everywhere.

Hmmm, I hope they arent going to skip out on that firmware update that will add "Enchanced Blu Ray Playback Capabilities" to the PS3.

I still want the update that will stop me having to change the audio from hdmi to optical every time I want to turn on the sound system.  The rumble is nice whenever I'll have a controller that can use it, too.  Can we just import them from Japan?  Will a controller from over there work with the US unit?

I belive sony uses Japan as test before they release there things in US/UK but the difference shouldnt be that much in time they should do better on that.  If I hear it works well on any ps3 I might just get 1 off ebay they should have some there.

There is no FW at the end of this month.. Its the Terms of usage agreement that is being updated at the end of the month.. No 2.0.. I swear people will believe anything.. But you cant blame them when the same fools who put out the articles on this site, are instagating the rumors..

Man forget that, The rumble system is cool but we all are still waiting on the 2.0.  I am not really happy at the moment but I know sony knows what they are doing.  When you normally set a dead line for something to come out especially on Firmware, we all are looking for it but hopefully yall still keep the same dead line for 2.0 to come out the 30th and 1.94 come between it, maybe on the 27th or something.

There has never been any official confirmation on a date for 2.0 and there's no guarantee as to what it'll even inculde.

The 2.0 you all are drooling over is the activation of EULA 2.0 for your PS3.

I'd much rather have a better looking PSN store than the DS3 right now.  Not like it's going to help anything until we get titles with it included.

There's absolutely no reason a JP imported DualShock3 controller won't work in a US/UK PS3.

In US, Sony maybe needs to conclude some contracts (payments of idiot-patents). In Europe, Sony likes to sell most things in a bundle.

Or they just probe the market in JP, to determine how many units to manufacture and ship overseas, and how to market/advertise them.

I can't wait for the rumble SIXAXIS controller!
