We reported earlier about the leaked information involving Firmware v2.53 and its expected November 26 release date. Oddly, November 26 came and went without any Firmware update in sight. Fortunately, Firmware v2.53 was officially released tonight and is ready for downloading.
As we mentioned previously, this update allows for full screen Flash functionality (Hulu fans rejoice!). It also adds "Live movie (using RTMP format) playability," though we’re not too sure what that is.
