First images and details for PS3 exclusive Under Siege

Last month, Seed Studios teased us with a splash page website featuring the silhouettes of three characters for an upcoming PS3 exclusive called Under Siege. No details on the game were given at the time, but after a recent update to the website, we now have the first details on Under Siege as well as a first look at the game in pre-alpha stage.

According to Seed Studios Lead Designer Bruno Ribeiro, Under Siege is a Real Time Strategy game that is built from the ground up for the PlayStation 3.

"Under Siege features an original world, unique gameplay elements and a control scheme designed with a console controller in mind," Ribeiro said. "We are also working on implementing a large number of multiplayer and community features with special emphasis on user generated content."

As you can see from the pre-alpha game shots, the visuals are very impressive. We are already waiting in anticipation to see more. Be sure to stay tuned as Seed Studios is expected to reveal more over the coming months.

     This looks really good. The graphics are insane looking. There are no RTS games for the PS3 and so far this one looks awesome. Can't wait to hear more.

    This is an RTS? I'm disappointed,I was hoping that it was a action/adventure game.

     For the love of god, please make sure you have keyboard and mouse support in this!  especially if it's going to be a PS3 exclusive.

    those images remind me of Age of  Empires 3 which can only be a good thing as AoE games are fantastic

    MOUSE OR KEYBOARD SUPPORT OR EPIRC FAIL, i never understand why they just dont release rts games with mouse keyboard suypport on ps3, its really beyond me who wants to play this with a damn sixxas

    The visuals remind me of Titan Quest.

    I never really got how a console RTS can be pulled off, but, apparently it works.

    Pre-alpha and the graphics already look great. If it's fun and easy to use, I'll most likely get it. I hope it turns out well, I haven't played an awesome console RTS before. Even EndWar was difficult for me to use.

    Not impressed, not in to RTS games anyways. I thought it was goin to be more of an action game, oh well. At least its an exclusive.

     Looks interesting, im not really the RTS type but I would definitely give it a shot... user generated content sounds intriguing.

    @23 It's on the blog that it will be released as a PSN title.

    And I already knew this, since one of the Portuguese forums I look for news someone of the Team posted some stuff there a bit before Christmas.

    meh id rather see like an exclusive fighter or something differnt than a fps or a game like uncharted. rts is kool though.

    yay an rts :D people saying they wish it was an action/adventure = phail         EVERY ps3 game is like fps or action -_- think ill be getting this and command and conquer :D

    Well, I'm pretty excited about that.  I love RTS.  I would have to agree with the *include keyboard and mouse support* comments though, It would just feel more natural.  Anybody remember starcraft for the 64?  Oh it was awful working with a joystick.
