I am beyond words. Is it even possible to describe how amazing this game looks? New direct feed in-game screenshots for Uncharted 2: Among Thieves have surfaced and we have them here for your viewing pleasure.
According to Naughty Dog, they plan to push the PS3 to its limits, using 100% of the Cell's power. After seeing these, it seems like that goal may be reached.

WOW, Naughty Dog seem to be doing something right, Theres so many different textures, very immersful(is that even a word?). Didnt get the first uncharted, these screens just made me want the second.

Rare(ware) were once the masters of getting the best out of a system but that honor is now Naughty Dog's. This is the best looking game in existence.

saw these in game informer, and just think you're not seeing the amazing AI, physics, and animation in these screens, or hearing the amazing sound quality. This game will be one for the history books thats for sure, 09 looks to top 08 in terms of amazing titles and that's an extremely impressive feat in and of itself not to mention all of the new features we're going to see, yeah ps3 is teh suxxorzzzz :P

I hope we have less waves of enemies to fight through. This is not gears of war, we are not fighting for humanity.
I am still excited and even if they do overdo the amount of enemies and put drake through more than a real man can(While touting their character as one) i will still enjoy it but i want it to be a bit more believable.
I like that they announced stealth as that is what a real person would prefer to do in these situations as opposed to fighting dozens of armed men. Also use some plot devices for the game play like meeting a new character who can stitch up your wounds in a cutscene with a few more scars here and there.
I hope naughty dog lets us do more than just shoot like letting us have oppurtunities of escaping gun fights or more enemies that are not waiting for us 24/7.....like if we choose to wait before we jump into action and use the element of surprise to catch the enemy unarmed or off guard.
Uncharted was a great start and i just want enemies that are more so fallible than just bad shots(You think out of the hundreds of blood thirsty pirates from the first game would have been able to have gotten a headshot, but that is probably what the suspension of disbelief is for)

Naughty Dog are doing a fantastic job in creating a high quality title that will surely leave us gamers stuffed with beautiful visuals and story. Its a shame that they sold their rights to Crash Bandicoot, cause i would have like to see Crash on the Ps3. 2009 will surely be a year where a bunch of great heavyweight titles that we can sink our teeth into.

Big ND put they foot in this isht here! But what I really want em to do is tighten up on dem flat textures on some of the pieces of rock that show up every now and again.
In the midst of all the rest of the high res textures it looks out of place. Gotta make those "pop" a lil bit more so they dont look like a spot on the picture.

Those pics are amazing,cant believe thats actually ingame aswell.This owns and i mean owns anything on the 360 in terms of graphics.this should end all arguments about games should be multi plat.devs should be ps3 only after seeing gow3,mgs4,ffvs13 and this

ok so i'll be the calm guy here and say ...yes it looks great but why when i look at those pics i get a sinking feeling that they are turning this game into a 3rd person shooter. I hope this isnt the case because that would ruin it completely and take away from Uncharteds uniqueness.hmmmmm

wow looks incredible, cant wait to get this. seeing all these pics + new trailer made me go at uncharted again. game is so great, hope they make they make this one just as good/even better - graphics and everything look amazing - everyone going crazy of KZ2 looks like this might steal the show - but hope they keep up gameplay as good as it was in the first one, and improve little annoyances. good to hear that six-axis grenade throwing is out - that sucked. also would help ifthey make enemies taking damage more realistic - shooting someone six times to see them shoot back was not too great. still though, cant wait to see actual gameplay of this, and actual behind the shoulder gameplay shots and not all these awkward angles...

Holy cow! I just find it hard to believe that all this is "only" 720p. I thought the FIRST Uncharted was the best looking game overall that I'd ever played. Now, MGS4 is probably a bit better technically in my book as far as graphics, but it's all just amazing. I STILL haven't seen anything like Uncharted or MGS4 on any other console, period.
