Who has money to pay $2 per freakin episode of tv that I can see for free online? If it was $1 it would be cool I guess.. Im not cheap or anything but still, $2 for an episode of w/e is too much imo unless they were in HD and an hour long..

@ joeyjoejoeshababadoo, what does having to be a jew have to do with anything. That comment was uncalled for.

While teaming up with Blockbuster might be a good idea... it might not necessarily expand their movie selection as much as you think.   If you look at the details of the Netflix merger with LIVE, you will see that even though Netflix is vastly expanding the number of movies available to view on the 360 service... they are mostly older "classic" titles that are included for viewing.  Sony's inventory is coming along nicely thus far.  They have a pretty wide array of content available already.  And it will only get better.  It takes time to make deals with company's to get their content onboard.  It would be nice if the studios would actually include all episodes of a season instead of skipping around with them.  I have not seen one TV show yet where a complete season is available.  Usually there is at least one or two missing.  Not sure the reasoning behind that.  I personally don't have a problem with the pricing strategy Sony is using; however, of note is that it is cheaper to rent movies from my cable provider ON-DEMAND.  My problem is more of the way they are handling what you can do with the content once you have purchased it.  I believe that if I pay for a movie, I should be able to store it anywhere and not just on the HDD since the HDD may crash and you can't redownload the titles you have bought.

don't get walk hard. it is SUCH A CRAPPY MOVIE...

  9. HeartAttackSilv3rback |

dude walk hard is k!ck@zz man... superfunny but you have to understand thast kind of comedy to know how extream,ly hi-larious it is.

and i gots one question if any one is willing to answer that would be great so i can get a better understanding... anyways: can 360 user's watch the movies they get from their netflix service in HD?? i personally dont think they can (since the 360 has no high-def lasers in it)..

The fact that that many people payed good money for, and spent valuable time downloading, Meet the Spartans is disgusting.

I think the prices are pretty comperable to dvd purchases. If you consider its around $15 for a dvd or "Spongebob" with like 6 episodes. Chowder isn't even available on DVD but you can pay $2 an episode. That would be$12 for what you would normally pay for a dvd, plus u can put it on a portable device. I think its a very reasonable pricing system. So far only picked up all four epi's of Afro Samurai... pretty sweet.

Ohh didnt know that they let you take the content off the PS3's hdd thats pretty cool.. btw didnt notice until a lil while ago but they have a rental service.. Which looks SWEET, I wish though that they let you rent episodes of tv, b/c whos really gunna rewatch tv episodes more than 1-2 times? Unless your like extremely bored.. But yeah there should be a rental section for the TV section, I'd be great for me since I don't have cable TV :( But I do have an HDTV :)

I think its great what they did with the Video section. Movies are cheaper to rent then Blockbuster (especailly new releases), you can buy them cheaper, and new movies are added everyday (I noticed.) I'm extremely glad to see my favorite movie Cloverfield being on the Top 10, let alone the top being 3rd most downloaded.

as anime pulse says "screw funimation" the only problem i have with the service is that for the anime section, you have to listen to the crappy dub that they always do with no alternative. subs own over dubs except for the Tenchi Muyo! series as a whole. the OVA, the spinoffs, and the movies.
