PlayStation 3 gamers in Europe are not far from coming into contact with the little Orange Box, however France and Germany will have to wait until early 2008 to join the party, as reported by Electronic Arts.

As it currently stands, the German release date for Orange Box is set at January 17th while the French release date is still to be unknown, other than an early 2008 release.

For the lucky media who had the opportunity to play the game early, many mention technical setbacks such as a choppy framerate. Conversely, there are those who dismiss that notion and reveal that the title runs just as smoothly as it does for the Xbox 360.

Orange Box is an all in one deal where gamers experience the puzzle inspired Portal, multi-player frenzy Team Fortress 2, and Half-Life 2: Episode 2. The rest of Europe, Australia, and North America will be able to get their hands on the PS3 version of Orange Box next week.
