PlayStation 3 owners and God of War fans alike have a long wait ahead of them for the next installment of the God of War franchise. Cory Barlog, director of God of War 2 updated his blog and mentioned that work on God of War 3 has not started yet.

He stated "If we do get started on a GOW for PS3 you can be sure I will be screaming about it from the mountain tops the first chance I am allowed.” While we eagerly wait for that day, we came across a video that appeared to be from EMG Brazil division.

The video shows a censored man who claims to be a programmer at Sony’s Santa Monica Studios. He presents several 3D models of Kratos and other pieces of art that were very impressive.

We contacted Sony and got this reply from them, "The video is a hoax and is in no way affiliated with or endorsed by Sony Computer Entertainment." 

So there you have it folks, the video is fake, and GoW 3 is still not in production. In the meantime, be sure to check out God of War: Chains of Olympus for the PSP this November, to quell the thirst for this sure to be AAA PS3 title.
