Ready at Dawn announced today that its upcoming PlayStation Portable title, God of War: Chains of Olympus, has reached gold status, putting it on track for its US release early next month.
Additionally, the game’s official website has opened, which consumers can visit by clicking here.
Chains of Olympus is a prequel to the God of War series, which made its debut on Sony’s PlayStation 2 console in 2005. Players will once again assume the role of Kratos, as he embarks on yet another perilous journey against overwhelming odds plucked from the bowls of ancient Greek mythology.
The game is due out in North America on March 4, with a European release date yet to be announced.

It's about time!
I saw this on tv,but sadly it looked like a button-masher to me,please tell me i'm wrong.(truthfully of course)
Good news
I'd be really excited if this game was done well. I haven't bought a game for my psp in a while, this might be one worth buying, as long as it doesn't turn out a crappy game w/ like 2 enemies on the screen at a time.
@PSN-pauls the psp has more to offer than god of war i pre ordred ff7 core and i playd the demo for gow and it was good after ff7 then ill trade my psp in.lol
Awesome, I cant wait for this game to come out im a Big Time GOW fan
this game plays, and looks like the PS2 version's of GOW, don't doubt it. Its a good game, and expect something Like what the Ps2 versions have offerd.
Cha, about time indeed. Also, I've been waiting for my demo disc for like... over a year now.
yessssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you didnt get your demo disk by now you probably never will. I've had mine for like 4 months. Go to best buy, they're offering a free demo disk when you preorder the game. it's the same demo Sony gave out just without all the neat extra swag.
