Rumor: GTA IV coming to PS3 Platinum Range

Rockstar’s mammoth selling crimp romp Grand Theft Auto IV looks set to become the next title in line to join Sony’s PS3 Platinum Range in PAL regions, according to a listing spotted on Amazon UK.

The listing prices the game at £16.99 GBP and pencils it in for release on October 30, which oddly enough puts it out a day after the launch of the latest batch of DLC for the Xbox 360 version.

That’s about all we have to go on right now, though it’s worth pointing out that generally Amazon have delivered the goods when it comes to this sort of thing. Still, nothing has been officially confirmed as of yet -- we’ll keep you updated.

In the meantime, pop over to our GTA IV review to see what you’re missing out on.

@The_Joker.....PS3 didnt get any DLC, so no.

I'd imagine we'll see a rise in sales for this, what with all the new PS3 owners.

when your drivin around liberty city in the night and it starts pourin down with rain and then the thunder and lightening starts in my opinion it creates an atmosphere that no other sandbox game comes close to. ok the gameplay isn't fantastic but people must be stupid if they think its a poor game. roll on GTAV

it should have a greatest hits it sold well and was a great game until you beat the story and had nothing else to do except multiplayer which in my opinion gets old quick

I liked GTA 4 until all the phone calls started, thats what drove me off the game, the rest of the game is up to the usual GTA standards.

If there would've been a demo for this game I still wouldn't pay that much for it. This game is horrible. Unfortunately I paid $60 for it when it came out

We don't get the DLC so who cares. I'm not buying another 360 to play it either. The red ring of death might as well be a stamped guarantee on the side of the box.

doesn't a game have to be good as well to get an honor such as this???

Does it matter?  The graphics of this games look fantastic but sadly the gameplay is a real let down.  I bought the PS3 for this game a few weeks after PS3 launch.  Then the game got put back 6 months and when it was finally released it was rubbish!
