Half Life 2: Orange Box will arrive a few weeks late

Valve confirmed that the PlayStation 3 version of Half-Life 2 will arrive weeks later after the 360 and PC retail release on October 10th, 2007.

A specific reason as to why the PlayStation 3 version was delayed had not been given. Hopefully, Valve puts greater time into working with the PlayStation 3 version of the game to make it better.

So, it seems PlayStation 3 owners will have to hold on for a few more weeks before they can jump back into the world of Half Life, and continue the epic series in it's biggest debut yet.

Valve, delayed a PS3 game.  Not surprised, they dont even like the PS3.  They are probably doing this to spite us.

I'm not really surprised that ANYTHING supporting the "Games for Windows" technology will be a few weeks late on the PS3. It IS a PC centric technology and the Xbox supports it since...duh!...it's a Microsoft product. Pieces that use that technology on the PC and Xbox will have to be written for the PS3 from scratch. Smaller piece, so smaller delay but still a delay unless the dev is working on everything concurrently and plans for it. No big deal though, we're still getting it and I don't care about weeks of delay. Now MONTHS would kinda suck! :)
