Ubisoft has announced that the highly anticipated PlayStation 3 exclusive Haze will arrive in Europe on December 14, narrowly hitting shops in time for the Christmas holiday period.
Prior to this announcement, the release date for the Free Radical-developed first person shooter had been clouded in ambiguity, though it is now confirmed the game will hit stores in time for the holiday season on both sides of the Atlantic, with the title due to hit North America on December 11.
The futurist shooter takes place in the year 2048, with players taking control of a new recruit in the Mantel Global Industries army named Shane Carpenter. After being dispatched to South America to fight an on-going war against rebel forces, Carpenter soon discovers the secrets of a mysterious drug known only as “NETAR”, along with a nefarious plot orchestrated by the Mantel Corporation itself– the very company he swore to serve.
Stay tuned for more details on Haze as soon as they become available.
