Haze demo information

The wait is finally over for Haze, a highly anticipated title from Ubisoft, as a demo is going to be made available on the PlayStation Network on May 6. Haze, which has seen countless delays, is set for its exclusive date on the PlayStation 3 come May 22, but gamers won't have to wait that long to get some hands-on time with the title. For those of you curious about what to expect from the upcoming demo, well the creative lead on the game is giving letting you know just that.
“It’s the first mission in the game,” said Littlewood. “You take on the role of Shane Carpenter as a Mantel trooper as he’s scrambled into a jungle battlezone to secure the site of a crashed Mantel plane carrying a shipment of nectar.
“And you can assume by default that I’ll say it’s great,” he added.
There has been a lot of controversy surrounding the title and its exclusivity to the PS3 as well as its release date, but gamers can now be rest assured with the release date set in stone that they can finally enjoy Haze in less than a months time. If any new information springs up about the title, we'll be sure to keep you updated.

I never really understood the hype over HAze but for some reason, I'm so excited for the demo!!!

it seems to good to be true now since we've all been waiting so long for it. i am looking forward to the game, cant hardly wait to see actual gameplay of the game finally. it do look awesome, i hope it stands up to other great 1st person shooters out now.
i dont need another cod4 i just want original gameplay

I have to admit that I was more excited about Haze last year before it got delayed, but I'm definanlty looking forward to the demo.
I'm still debating whether or not I should get Haze in May or just wait until July to get it because MGS4 comes out like 2 weeks after Haze is realeased and I wont have time to play Haze when MGS4 comes out, so I'll probably wait to get it, but it depends on how good the demo is for me.
I hope that the delays really paid off.

I was excited until the first delay and it spiraled down from there. I'll probably pick this up in 2009 when a slum hits.

yeah the euro store is getting a store update on tues and thurs coz our service has sucked compared to the us lol
where getting haze demo on tues while id think us would get it on thurs

wait wait wait... two things are on my mind right now... One is the date like SILV3R_ (post 24) mentioned... may 6th is a tuesday, whats up with that? secondly im still concerned about co-op... is their going to be 4player co-op in this demo or not? (my mind is saying 50-75% no)

Finally. They said "can finally enjoy Haze". I think woulb be better stated as "enjoy/be disappointed by Haze". This demo better be impressive, they've put us through a lot of waiting.

awesome news after they said there was no demo last year. this is my number 2 game to get this year, i think it will be great.
and this is NOT a ubisoft game its a Free Radicle game. every where i look people think its ubi,ubi=the publishers. they have no invalvement in the creation of haze lol,just tryin to give credit where it is desurved
