Speaking during an interview with Gamespot AU, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) Vice President Jim Ryan confirmed that PlayStation Home is still on track for 2008 and that we should see the Home open beta before the years end.
"It's still on track to move from closed beta to open beta before Christmas," said Ryan.
In addition, Home Community Manager "TedTheDog" reiterated that the Home open beta will be released soon after the release of Home v.1.0.
"We'll be sending our invites once v1.0 is live," TedTheDog wrote on the Official EU PlayStation Forums.
"Understand that SCEA's motivation to reward annual subscribers to QORE is a little different to our motivation to do a load test before Open Beta.
”Please don't worry though, we here at SCEE really do have a lot of invites to send and Open Beta will be along within weeks of that as well. "

Hey. Any Qore annual subscribers know for sure what date that they will be issuing the episode and the beta? And, we are for SURE getting that invite because we previously bought the annual subscribe?? I feel for the other people who didn't take advantage of the Qore thing but everyone had been waiting for this for what feels like an eternity. I'm not even going to get my hopes up about the "supposed" Qore benefit. We'll see I guess.
