Take a look at Mirror's Edge's upcoming demoSony Computer Entertainment announced today that sales of its PlayStation Portable Slim and Lite edition have surpassed the one million mark in Japan since launching there little more than two months ago.
According to Sony, this latest milestone puts it exactly a fortnight ahead of the success of the original PSP, which was released in Japan back in 2004.
Released on September 20, the Slim and Lite edition is approximately 5mm thinner and 3mm shorter than the original model, and features the same, high-quality 4.3inch screen. Also included is a TV output socket, allowing gamers to connect their handheld to their Television sets to view content.

lol next thing microsoft will release a brick called xbox mini
This is a bigger deal than many may realize. The Japanese are latching onto the PSP. They love fads. They will love to have the PS3 that nicely compliments that PSP. It can translate into a huge sales boost.
PSP is getting more share than ever since the launch in 2004. I'm really surprised not to see a MS handheld out yet or are they just going to continue to ignore this market?
