Hideo Kojima has been as stealthy as his beloved character Solid Snake when it comes to dodging and avoiding a keynote speech at the yearly Game Developers Conference. According to Event Director Meggan Scavio, Kojima has continually turned down opportunities to deliver a keynote speech for as long as she can remember. For GDC 2009, however, Scavio has finally pegged down the elusive and revered Kojima to deliver a keynote address.
His speech is entitled "Solid Game Design: Making the 'Impossible' Possible." It's expected to last for roughly an hour, but it may spill over a bit as we all know Kojima isn't one to edit his thoughts. We'll be sure to bring you a summary of his speech as it happens.
