KotOR 3 in works, says ex-LucasArts employee

BioWare is currently working on the next instalment in the highly successful Knights of the Old Republic series, according reports from an ex-employee of LucasArts.

The individual, claiming to be one of 75-100 employees laid off earlier this week, told Kotaku that Knights of the Old Republic 3 will take the form of a Massively Multiplayer Online Game (MMOG).

He also confirmed that development has started on Battlefront 3, a second lego game based on the Indiana Jones franchise, in addition to a new lightsaber game for Nintendo’s Wii console.

Of course, regular readers will be aware that it is common knowledge BioWare and LucasArts have already confirmed they are working on a project together, although we’ve yet to receive substantial details on the matter.

Played the first game on the Xbox and thought it was great, missed out on playing the second. This could be a game worth keeping an eye on!

YES, IF KOTOR 3 COMES TO PS3, OR IS BEING MADE AT ALL, THEN THIS IS AMAZING NEWS

Kotor 1 and 2 was BEAUTIFUL for the PC.

whoa this is the fourth rumor I've heard that the game was in the works alongside Jade Empire 2 which they are planning to release on PC, PS3 & 360. late next year. all PS3 owners need from them is F***ing Mass Effect I hope 2K Marin teach them a lesson in October with BIOSHOCK.

is kotor very different from swbf? I can't wait for swbf 3, hopefully it will be like warhawk but much bigger with the ability to fly into space from a plannet and land on a cruiser, both off and online!

psn id: gingo... nbattlefront 3 should be very good and the lightsaber gamer for the wii sounds a realyl good concept aswell hopefully it works in practice

@Odium: Your a right troll. Have you any proof of this? SWBF3 was on the ps2 aswell, and just because KotOR, was only on xbox doesn't mean it'll stay that way.
