Lair, the highly anticipated dragon-riding game, has been pushed back yet again.
The title will now be hitting store shelves three weeks later than planned, on September 4th. Ryan Hamlin, the title's Associate Producer, let us in on the reason of Lair's three week delay on the Official PlayStation Blog.
"Natural challenges that arose while finalizing the offline game to include key online features - such as leaderboards and medal systems - have led to the difficult choice of pushing back the release date."
Lair takes place in a mythical world in which two resource-deprived nations are forced into a war neither side wants. The player assumes the role of a dragon-riding knight named Rohn, the ace-pilot in his squadron. Stick with PSU for full coverage of Lair's upcoming release.

If this game somehow manages to get pushed back again, to the October or November range, I can imagine alot of people passing on it for some of the other highly anticipated titles.
This is bullsh!t............I had planned on purchasing but now i may just have rent the dang game instead of buying it...........
*sigh* Not another delay...At this rate I'll be playing the PS5 by the time I get my hands on a Lair sequel, much less the first Lair.
i was pumped to buy this game now i dont know what to do
There just making sure the game is near perfect before they release it, and not just pushing out a rushed title, I already have mine reserved......
Cry babies......lol
The game is being pushed for quality issues, that's a good thing people.
To those who say they won't buy it, that's pretty ignorent and childish on your part. If the game sells bad then the chances of us getting a sequel will be very slim. No wonder EA pumps out halfassed ports and unfinished games on us (as in all systems). We always complain, it's sad. Yes I can understand your agner, I'm frustrared as well, but to go as far as saying " Scr3w this game, I won't buy it" is just plain stupid, especially when NONE of the reviews say the gam is boring, it just has control issues which SOME people don't like, and others LOVE. This is very reminiscent to the DMC4 issue, people saying thet won't make a purchase because it went multi.................................a move like that will definitely convince Capcom to make PS3 exclusives in the future (sarcasm).
Even if they push it back, this really should have been takin care of, there should never be a reason for delay
oh well.. we can only complain about the delay but i just hope they dont take longer than september this time.
Stop whinning people, 3 weeks uh, big deal... it must be doomsday. Seriously, 3 weeks is not that much; and everyone in this forums have been whinning on how they want medals and stuff to show off online (specially when Home comes out) so I think it's good that they take 3 extra weeks to please us.
Lair, being pushed back again just makes me want this game even more. PS3, it's in the box!
I said that the next company to delay a PS3 game I was persanoly going to burn the building down (who's with me), I need you to pay for everything since I live in Texas but i'm ready when you are.
I still have PSP and PS2 games to play.
While I understand that the game is being pushed back due to issues of quality, I feel that it is not right to give the public a specific date unless you are completely certain that the game can meet that date. Otherwise, do not release official release dates until you know the game will be ready.
Well, hopefully this doesn't turn an Assassin's Creed leaf and get pushed back half a year.
