Rockstar Games has debuted a brand new trailer for its upcoming racer Midnight Club: Los Angeles at the Leipzig Games Convention this week.

To view the trailer, see below.

Developed by Rockstar San Diego, this latest instalment in the popular racing series features a “hyper-realistic” free-roaming representation of LA, where gamers can cruise freely around at their own leisure without the presence of cumbersome load times.

Midnight Club: Los Angeles is due for release on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in October 2008.

Not really my cup of tea, and to be honest the gfx dont seem very PS3,

but if it plays well I am sure we could look past that, ? were not all gfx whores are we lol

to be honest the graphics look brilliant in parts but midnight is all about the free roam experience

This game was never about graphics, always about the amount of things you could do to your ride, and the gameplay, which, as usual, should be reeeaalllyyy fun. Will be looking at reviews first thought before I pick up.

    @ ChrisXL

you pretty much nailed it right there. MC games have never been about graphics, its about the fun, and the limitless opportunities (e.g. MC3's vast customization). i mean, i guess its just a Rockstar Games thing, not so much a MC thing; just look at the GTA series, spectacular gameplay, with the sacrifice of not-so perfect graphics.

the reason why I did not get burnout paradise was because of the none lisenced cars and because this game is more like test drive unlimited's invironment, minus the peds.  gps with weather effects in certain parts so you can avoid it.  real cars and bikes ftw
