The Leipzig Gaming Convention kicks off on Thursday and is sure to provide the industry with some ground breaking news and big unveilings. With the downsizing of E3, Leipzig and the Tokyo Game Show are now the largest video game expos in the world.

All three major platforms (Xbox 360, Wii, PlayStation 3) will be at the event, but only Sony will be giving a presentation. Microsoft has scheduled a "get together" and Nintendo has set up tours. Good news for European PS3 fans.
