LittleBigPlanet DLC to resume on January 22

Some of you may have noticed that a usual component for the weekly PlayStation Store updates was missing in action yesterday. Unfortunately, yesterday’s update was the first one without some form of LittleBigPlanet downloadable content to enjoy. As it turns out, it seems that the team over at Media Molecule are taking a break after rolling out their incredibly designed Metal Gear Solid 4 level pack.

According to CVG, Media Molecule will resume their weekly content updates on January 22 and promise big surprises to come. We, of course, have our money bet on the Final Fantasy Costume pack, which will hopefully include a level pack as well. How awesome would it be to be able to play key points within a couple of Final Fantasy titles over the course of 5-6 levels? Yeah, we'd be stoked too.

On top of this planned content, Media Molecule is hard at work on a patch that should fix the save data glitch. We'll be sure to update you if that is the case.

A well deserved break for MM.  Enjoy the time off guys (and gals).  Thanks for giving us an amazing game with great DLC!  I am looking forward to Jan 22 already to see what's on the horizon for LBP.

Sweet, but we need more level packs like MGS4 and less costume packs, yeah they're fun, but not as good as a load of new quests

Costumes are nice, but I really want more materials and tools to work with when making my own maps.  I love that paintgun, sounds, and that Spotlight switch that came with the MGS pack.  I'm not a big fan of FF, but I wouldn't mind seeing an Uncharted pack.  I'm surprised more movie franchises hasn't jumped on board, like Star Wars, or Indiana Jones.  I heard Marvel had some dispute about people using their characters, but I think it would be cool to have a Wolverine, or Spiderman Sackboy.   I really wish they could figure out a way to put water in there, but from what I heard they'd really have to alter the game a bunch and we probably won't see water unless it's in LBP 2.
