LittleBigPlanet has been nominated for numerous awards over the last couple of months. This trend shows no signs of stopping as the innovative title from Media Molecule is leading the field at the upcoming Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences Awards. For those wondering how many nominations our little Sack friend has garnered, well, 10.
Sony should be proud as LittleBigPlanet is up for top-tier categories like Game of the Year, Console Game of the Year, and Outstanding Innovation in a Game. We're positive this is the type of response Sony was looking for around the world when they first gave the go ahead and picked up the publishing rights to Media Molecule's Sackbaby.
The awards show is set to take place on February 19. We'll be sure to update you on how many awards MM's title is able to take home when it happens.
