Liverpool's Fernando Torres "addicted to PlayStation"

Those professional footballers sure know how to live the high life. According to MCV, Liverpool FC striker Fernando Torres has blown GBP 35,000 on special "PlayStation rooms" while recovering from a hamstring injury.

The contents of these rooms include state-of-the-art surround sound systems, plasma screens so wide you'd need a packed lunch just to get to the volume control and, of course, a PlayStation 3. Yep, one per room. Probably made out of gold. (Note: paragraph contains hyberbole.)

Torres' list of favourite titles includes Pro Evo Soccer. The poor bods at FIFA must be crying themselves to sleep.

    He's a fantastic striker. He loves PlayStation too. Not surprised :). When you see something good, you go out and get it lol.

    Torres made the beautifully placed winning goal in the final match Spain vs Germany of Eurocup 08. Glad to see hes a PS3 gamer.

    You are obviously a Man Utd fan. Ronaldo is nothing but a diving whinger who deserves to get kicked up & down the field for all the antics he does on the pitch. Rooney is far too overrated for me.

    Christiano Ronaldo is a girly diver. Like Fernando Torres better. Wayne Rooney is a little overrated, yes, but that's just 'cause he's from England. Americans and English tend to over-hype everything that's theirs.

    1st of all it is quite obvious that Torres has NEVER played fifa 09..  if he is playing that p.e.s ..poor chap.. and secondly...@ 10 &12  watching football give j.a.c.k his jacket.. c .ronaldo was a girly diver to me as well.but he has stopped with last from the ending of last season.. and he is a really good player ( not the best) rooney is now gettin back in form but still way behind the top strikers to date..  and persoanlly Torres is my FAV.. and just to show how un biased i am.. I am a Chelsea FAN!!!  lets go Chelsea!!!!..
