Slipping into the shadows of such titles as Star Wars: The Force Unleashed and Fracture, many people have forgotten about one of LucasArts' biggest projects, Indiana Jones.
With no word on the title's development since 2006, gamers have forgotten about the game or figured it was indefinitely shelved. However, speaking with PSU.com, LucasArts confirms the title is still in the works with new details soon on the way.

"LucasArts remains absolutely committed to the Indiana Jones franchise," said the LucasArts representative. "While we are aware that fans have been eagerly awaiting additional information on the upcoming game, they can rest assured that details are forthcoming."
For those of you not up to date on the new Indiana Jones title, the game will be utilizing much of the same technology found in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. This includes Natural Motion's Euphoria Engine, Pixelux's DMM technology and Havok physics. As of right now, there has been no concrete release date given, but we suspect it'll show up in 2009.

Blah. They should spend their time and make a MMO Star Wars or re-do Star Wars galaxies.

Looks like it'll be based on a younger middle aged Indy from the pic, but after the crystal skull, there's a lot of people who might be happier if Indy just disappeared so they can remember him as the guy who didn't have anything to do with interdimensional aliens...
You know I used to not have that much of a problem with it but when you say Interdimensional Aliens and Indiana Jones in the same breath it really does seem stupid... huh, interesting.

I liked the original Star Wars and I liked the original Indiana Jones, but in the past decade, George Lucas ruined Star Wars...and ruined Indiana Jones. What's he gonna do next, ruin Howard the Duck? While his video games have been okay, compared to other movie games, they aren't something I would go crazy for. And if this isn't another port, then I'm a stuck-up, half-witted, scruffly-lookin' NERF HERDER!
BTW, this censorship thing is getting annoying. While PSU can censor us all they want since it's their site, my advice to them would be to stop doing it. It just drives more people away than it brings here and makes posting things more irritating since sometimes you get the warning and don't know what word you posted is banned.
