The final announcement from Sony's press conference at E3 today was MAG, or Massive Action Game. We know what you're thinking - the name isn't exactly original. But the features of the game back up its name.
MAG will feature 256-player online. Players will be split into 8 person squads, and all 256 will battle it out in one world. A trailer showing an extremely hectic warzone was shown with all sorts of weapons including grenades, mounted machine guns and possibly planes too. It wasn't an in-game trailer but then no one knows how far off the title is. The rep from Zipper Interactive said they'd been working on the title for three years now.

thats going to be hectic if they dont do it right but i will keep an eye on the game they need to change the name. hope its just for ps3.
yep the need to change the name, but the game looks realy cool finaly something which can take COD4
I like the look of the gameplay footage and its amazing to, will buy this game once it come out (might be till next couple of years or earlier if possible for a release date still need to be confirmed).
Nice, who cares about FF13 going multi, we got tons of good games!!! This goes to prove it! Stop whinning about FF13 and move on to bigger and better exclusives!! =)

yeh but how u gonna get all those people playing the ps3 online when nobody has a ps3 cause ur losing ur bread n butter exclusive games,its sooo over,if i was sony id be paying any amount of money to get ff13 bk as an exclusive

Sony is smart, they know that ps3 owners are upset about the ff13 butt they have somethings that people dont know about that they are working on. Just watch and see. Its coming. Im down with sony to the end, ive only had a playstation and will only have a playstation. My son has a ps2 and want the ps3 and he will get one. thats how everyone should roll.

@7- yeah the millions of people that have a PS3 are going to get rid of their console because ff13 isnt exclusive. Dont be so thick. I care more about 2 ply TP then i do about FF.

You think they will try to make us pay a subscription on this game? He said he likes MMO's... maybe he means the money he makes off of them monthly.
mag looks amazing i just wish the name was different. but o well the sheer awsomeness more then makes up for it
